AttainXR LLC has entered into a multi-year content licensing agreement with Avantis Education Ltd, the UK-based company behind ClassVR — the leading virtual and augmented reality platform purpose-built for education. Effective April 1, 2026, the agreement places AttainXR applications on Avantis's newest high school and higher education headset, Xcelerate, through the EduverseCTE content ecosystem.
A Platform Built at Global Scale
For Attain, this partnership means instant access to one of the most established distribution networks in educational technology. Avantis Education's ClassVR solution is used by more than two million students across over 250,000 classrooms in 90 countries. In the United States alone, Avantis serves more than 2,500 schools and 1,200 school districts — a procurement-scale reach that few edtech companies can match.
ClassVR is not simply a headset — it is an end-to-end system that includes purpose-built hardware, a cloud-based classroom management portal, and a growing library of curriculum-aligned immersive content called Eduverse. Avantis controls every component of the solution, from hardware manufacturing to teacher onboarding, which gives content partners like AttainXR a turnkey path to classroom adoption without the operational complexity of distribution, device management, or teacher training.
The Xcelerate Headset and EduverseCTE
AttainXR's applications will be delivered through Xcelerate, Avantis's newest and most advanced headset. Launched in 2025, Xcelerate is the first ClassVR device designed specifically for high school and higher education. It delivers six-degrees-of-freedom spatial tracking, a 90-degree flip visor for seamless transitions between virtual and physical environments, and a four-camera boundary safety system -- all powered by a next-generation XR computing platform.
Xcelerate is paired with EduverseCTE, Avantis's dedicated content suite for Career and Technical Education. EduverseCTE is organized across three libraries — Career Readiness, Vocational Pathways, and Career Exploration — giving educators flexible tools to deliver immersive, hands-on learning that bridges the classroom and the workplace. AttainXR's content will sit within this framework, reaching CTE programs at the district and institutional level.
AttainXR's Applications on the Platform
Two AttainXR applications are included in the initial agreement: Introduction to Construction and Virtual Shift. Both are designed to simulate real-world trade and workforce environments — giving students the kind of hands-on exposure that is difficult to replicate in a traditional classroom. The applications are delivered via the Xcelerate headset and accessed through Avantis's cloud-managed XR platform, which handles account provisioning, and content delivery for teachers and students.
Why This Partnership Matters for CTE
Career and Technical Education is in the middle of a significant shift. Perkins V federal funding has elevated the priority of work-based learning and skills-based credentialing across both secondary and post-secondary programs. At the same time, school districts and community colleges are actively seeking technology solutions that can simulate industry environments — particularly in fields where access to real equipment, clinical settings, or job sites is limited or expensive.
VR-based simulation directly addresses that gap. Through the ClassVR platform, AttainXR's content reaches exactly the programs and institutions that need it most — high school CTE departments, community college skilled trades programs, and healthcare education pathways — at the scale and with the institutional credibility that comes from being part of the world's leading education-focused VR ecosystem.
